Each promising to bring an entirely unique, and  “completely necessary” optimization for your business.

It’s enough to make your head spin!

That’s exactly what we found when assembling our 2019 Marketing Technology Report.

We asked marketers about the biggest challenge that’s come about from the latest wave of MarTech.  55% of you told us that there’s simply no time to study up on available platforms on top of your already-overflowing plate of responsibilities.

So what’s the solution when MarTech options are at an all-time high, and your bandwidth is likely at an all-time low?

You need to be leaning on your marketing agency more.

Having trust in your agencies and, of course, a roster worth trusting is already a hugely significant piece of your marketing success.

This only stands to become even more important as the array of marketing technologies continues to balloon.

Allow your agency to be the front line when it comes to these new offerings.

They need to be leading the charge into these technologies, proactively bringing you the ones they feel will help your business.

Discretion is still key, however.  When your agency begins calling you every time a shiny new toy hits the market, you’ll quickly slide back into being overwhelmed, overloaded, and potentially burnt out on MarTech.  When the right tool finally does come along, you just might miss it.

The balance between complacency and annoyance is one that’s not easy to strike.  It comes from an agency that understands your company, and where they stand in the relationship.

According to the report, 73% of you marketers are already having conversations with your agencies about MarTech platforms.  This is hugely promising for the future of discourse in the still-evolving space.

If you haven’t spoken to your agency about platforms that might be right for your company, there’s no time like the present.
