Stein Mart, located in Jacksonville, Florida has selected Bohan as their new Agency of Record.

Stein Mart is taking a fresh look at its advertising strategy as it tries to compete in today’s competitive and evolving retail landscape. In February, the retailer named MaryAnne Morin as its new president of merchandising and marketing to oversee all advertising.

RSW/AgencySearch managed the search for Stein Mart.

The search started by reviewing approximately 200 agency websites – agencies that appeared to have the right kind of experience Stein Mart was looking for.

The list of 200 was narrowed down to approximately 30 agencies that possessed deeper retail experience.

Pre-qualifying questions were sent to the 30 agencies and following review of the agency responses, the agency consideration list was narrowed down to a group of 7 agencies.

The 7 agencies were given an RFI.  From this list of 7 agencies, 3 finalists were selected (Barkley, Buntin, and Bohan).

Final pitch presentations were held at Stein Mart headquarters in late June.  The decision to move forward with Bohan was made soon after the completion of all the final pitch presentations.
