AI is overtly or covertly making its way into many professionals’ everyday work, especially in marketing.

Many professionals also believe AI will eventually replace their role partially or entirely in the near future.

Hence, it is time for governments and important stakeholders to create a framework around AI usage in organizations.

On the employees’ side, it is the right time to consider reskilling themselves in AI to avoid being replaced by the technology or people who can wield it.

In a recent survey conducted by Filestage and shared in an article by Spiceworks, over 2/3rds of professional use AI to develop marketing content.  According to the study, 76% of professionals use artificial intelligence to create marketing content. Further, 57% of startups, 52% of agencies, and 51% of freelancers use AI either daily or weekly to create content.

Bland and Safer Content

So, how exactly do people using AI feel about it? Many people seem to be positive about it. About 83% felt it improved their productivity, 62% felt it improved profitability, and 59% felt it improved their creativity. While agencies were most positive about creativity (70%) and profitability (74%), startups were most positive about productivity (91%).

That said, some people seem to have mixed feelings about Arit, specifically regarding creativity. While some believe AI will enhance their creativity much more than before, some believe it will decimate the industry and lead to more bland and safer content.

Almost 50% Think Artificial Intelligence Will Become a Key Part of Their Role

Almost half of the people surveyed believed AI would likely become crucial to their role. In fact, 72% of startups believed it was likely. Regarding accuracy, 62% believed AI would increase the importance of content reviews. This stresses the importance of a reliable approval process in marketing.

More Than Half Believe Parts of Writing and SEO Will Be Replaced

There has been a constant fear among people that AI will replace them. However, many experts believe that people with Artificial Intelligence knowledge will replace those without it. To test this theory, the survey asked participants about the likelihood of them being replaced in the next 5-10 years. The three functions most likely to be replaced in marketing are SEO (65%), content writing (58%), and content marketing (58%).
